Caregivers must score at least 80% on an exam to successfully pass a course. We allow your care team to attempt to pass an exam up to 5 times. If they have not passed the exam on the fifth attempt, we block them from continuing.
We do this for two reasons:
This helps prevent cheating on exams. Your caregivers must know the material covered in the course to pass.
We believe it is important that an administrator or manager understands that a caregiver is struggling with a topic, and may be in need of more direct teaching.
In order to attempt the exam again after 5 unsuccessful attempts, the caregiver must alert a manager that they need to unblock their exam.
To unblock an exam, simply search for the caregiver, and click the arrow to see more information.
Next to the course with a blocked exam, a "reset" icon will be displayed. Clicking this icon will give your caregiver two more attempts to complete the exam.
The reset icon only displays when an exam is blocked, so you don't need to worry about resetting the wrong exam
